Religious Education Program (REP)

The purpose of our Religious Education Program is faith formation - the ongoing development of the whole person into the image and likeness of Jesus Christ. All Catholics are on a journey of faith formation beginning in the waters of Baptism and ending with eternal life with Jesus in heaven. Our Religious Education Program strives to provide a solid foundation in our faith, age-appropriate to the students in our program.

St. Thomas the Apostle Parish's Religious Education Program is under the direction of the Faith Formation Team:

Mrs. Melissa Silka (Director of Faith Formation) and the Pastor

Classes meet on Sunday mornings from September - May. Classes are for students from St. Thomas Church and St. Teresa Church and will be one combined program.

The Class Times and Locations are as follows:

9:30AM - 10:45AM meeting at St. Teresa Parish Center (September - December)
9:00AM - 10:30AM meeting at St. Thomas school building (January - May)

Religious Education for the 2024-2025 School Year begins with our first class on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

If you have a student in grades Pre-K - 10, please call the parish office (814-663-3041) or speak to one of the Faith Formation Team members about joining our Religious Education Program (REP).
